TechnoLogica became part of the 2012 Fulbright Summer Institute program

15 Aug 2012

As part of the annual Fulbright International Summer Institute, TechnoLogica was visited by 30 MBA students from the University of Michigan led by their lecturer Professor George J. Siedel. The company was selected to provide the young people with an insight into the management and development of a Bulgarian company in the field of high technology as well as into the management of its innovation process. Mr. Ognian Trajanov presented TechnoLogica and the company's values, development strategy, major lines of business and the challenges related to them. The presentation was met with great interest and appreciation and was probably best summarized by one of the questions that followed it: "You are obviously very well informed and abreast of the latest theories and best practices in the field of management despite your many commitments and obligations. How would you advise us to achieve the same?” TechnoLogica’s CEO responded by saying that for him some of the most important factors were the inquisitiveness of the mind, the continuous analysis of situations and events, as well as optimization in every sphere.

Prof. Siedel asked for a copy of the presentation to show to Prof. Robert E. Quinn (a world-renowned expert on organizational change and a lecturer at the University of Michigan) whose theory Mr. Trajanov quoted several times and whom he invited to give a TechnoLogica-sponsored lecture in Bulgaria.

The Fulbright International Summer Institute (FISI) is organized by the Bulgarian-American Fulbright Commission for Educational Exchange and funded by the U.S. government. Since its creation in Bulgaria in 2002 FISI has offered one- and two-week interdisciplinary courses in a variety of subject areas: politics, business, education, science, and culture among others.
